March, 2013 - "We are re-booking for next year," that's Intec's ringing endorsement of the Packaging and Innovations Show 2013 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. "There was a high level of interest in the Edge 850 digital desktop label printer," says Director of Business Development Mark Baker-Homes. "Andrés Mulero and Paul McCabe from UPM Raflatac as well as Mark Hopkins and Randy Rickert from iSys Label in America all supported the event. The high level of interest resulted in Corrie van der Westhuizen continuously printing labels from the start to the end of the show to overseas and UK prospects. The stand also welcomed overseas partners. BPIF labels, a special interest group of the British Printing Industries Federation, hosted a number of seminars for visitors to the event, highlighting important new developments and exciting trends in the digital label industry. As one of the leading products at the show, we were asked to present the latest developments in the short run digital label industry." Mr Baker-Homes hosted the presentation, which was well attended. "I was pleased to note that there was also a high level of interest in the Intec DMP450 and Intec Promoboard. Visitors to the stand appreciated the flexibility and versatility of the Promoboard," he concluded.
